"Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiichael~kun!" Dōjima was possibly throwing a tantrum that would make the most spoiled Kardashian proud. "Why haven't you gotten me the files on the teleporter yet? I asked for them yesterday, and I can't move forward with the case unless you upload them to my phone! I'm not some genius who can guess your passwords!"

Dōjima, have you been in the coffee again? You know you're not supposed to have any. )

She had found Robin.

Yurika was just going to glee a little bit more about that. She had found Robin!

...okay, Robin had found her, and she hadn't been at her best, but still. The little pyro was alive. Sakaki was back in the office, albeit on crutches, and Karasuma and Micheal were up to full speed. She hadn't been able to convince Robin to come back, but now she had a search area to go with.

Which meant Yurika was taking the damn night off. Point of fact, she had threatened to cook for whomever called her phone before tomorrow afternoon. She and Romeo were going out, dammit, and this was possibly the most unusual date they had come up with.

And the most entertaining.

"Tonight's mystery ingredient is.... PEPPERMINT CANDY! Allez cuisine!"

Yurika just grinned and leaned back in her seat. "This is awesome."

[OOC: FOR THAT BOY]
dojima_hime: (neo-turk)
There had been an Inquisitor, sent from Rome, in Tokyo. Zaizen had, of course, ordered the Chief to keep all Hunters and support staff away from the man, except for Robin and Amon, who were to be his escort. Karasuma and Sakaki were sent out to bring in the subject. Ditzy Dōjima, of course, was sent to investigate other Witch sightings and scope out some locations, keeping her loud-mouth as far from the Inquisitor from Headquarters as possible.

Which was perfectly fine with Yurika, as she had no desire to get anywhere near someone from Headquarters who could possibly ID her as one of Juliano's operatives.

It had apparently gone as well as could be expected, although a Hunt order had soon been served on the man the Inquisitor had supposedly been sent to appraise as a potential Hunter. More disturbing was the fact that the priest had apparently been Robin-chan's Inquisitor, and Yurika knew damn well that there was no such thing as coincidence when Juliano was involved.

Things had gone back to normal after that, or at least as normal as they ever were at the STN-J. Dōjima was still looking for her slippery-Witch target, one she was beginning to doubt existed, and so she'd brought along a friend. Or, rather, a boyfriend. On her investigation. In her defense, it made her look less like a cop, and more like someone's worried sister looking for a family member. But even Hunters and their assistants needed to eat, and eventually they'd headed back to the STN-J, where there was usually take-out from Harry's laying around.

[OOC: For That Boy, but open for calls and texts, sure. Text and plot cribbed from episodes 13 & 14: "The Eyes of Truth" and "Loaded Guns."]
dojima_hime: by dojima_hime @ LJ (Hunters at Work)
It had been a frustrating forty-eight hours inside the Walled City, trying to find-and-catch the 'electric eel' Witch. Robin had stolen evidence, the Factory had been less-than forthcoming, and the residents hadn't exactly been welcoming of the Hunters' presence in their enclave.

It had ended with a bunch of dead yakuza thugs, Sakaki nearly getting toasty, and Dōjima needed a new pair of shoes. There was something stuck to the bottom of her boots that she didn't want to identify.

Although honestly? She'd enjoyed herself. Going on a real Hunt and having a tangible result was nice after almost a year of dead-end leads on Zaizen. She was just sorry that Robin and Sakaki had gotten the real fun.

She'd actually skipped the celebratory drinks at Harry's to head home instead, and fling herself through the door to the apartment. "Ohaiyo! I'm hooooooooooome! Can we order pizza? I'm starving!"

Normally it would be a bit early in the season, but Hanami was almost in full-swing at Ueno Onshi Koen, and Yurika couldn't pass up the chance for a picnic. She'd even put on her favorite blue sakura-patterned yukata for the occasion.

"The night-viewing won't start for another few days," she said to her companions as she spread out the blanket. "But the cherry blossoms are already off to a good start, ne?"

[OOC: For the boy and the blonde ninja!]
dojima_hime: by dojima_hime @ LJ (kansai princess)
The best part of prepping for a sting operation, Dōjima had decided, was the fact she got to go home for lunch, to see what sexy outfits she had in black to pose as a bar waitress.

Sometimes, being a spygirl was just plain fun. She sincerely doubted that Master's son was going to be stupid enough to show his face around Harry's, but at least it would be a fun few days of tips and cute patrons. And all she could drink.

"Hey, koibito," she called, sticking her head out of the bedroom and holding up two (almost identical) black halter tops. "Which one of these says 'tip your waitress?'"

[OOC: Open for calls, text messages, and that boyfriend-shaped Montague!]
dojima_hime: by dojima_hime @ LJ (double-agent)
It had started out like any other Wednesday morning at the STN:J, complete with a missing Dōjima, who hadn't even bothered to show up for last night's Hunt. Sakaki was still sulking, much to Karasuma's amusement and frustration, and morale around the office was decidedly low, Kate's absence hanging over them like a shadow.

'Dōjima still isn't here.' 'We can't do anything about it, she's special.' )

Admittedly, Yurika was not a morning person, but there was really no excuse for an intelligence operative not to notice something like that, regardless of how early in the morning it was.

Luckily it didn't take her long to clue in, and she climbed back into bed as soon as she was off the phone, snuggling up with the other person occupying the space. "I'm calling in," she muttered, nuzzling at Romeo's neck. "You're sick."

"Mmmmmph?" Romeo was blissfully asleep, or almost. He turned to kiss her and tell her not to be silly, when he realized something was different. Good thing last year had given him an idea what it was.

"Am I a girl again?" he asked, without opening his eyes.

"Mmmm...not sure. Maybe I should check," she giggled, taking the opportunity to snuggle closer and kiss his (her) nose. It was a cute nose! "But yeah. Pretty sure you're a girl again, koibito-mine."

".... and you want to stay in bed." He opened an eye and looked down his body. "I think that's an excellent idea, love."

"Not necessarily!" she objected, pouting at him slightly that he would assume such a horrible thing. "We could go out. Later. Try that new seafood place down the block, and maybe go dancing..."

He was too cute to hide away, seriously.

"But later. Definitely later."

"Much later," Romeo agreed, and rolled over to kiss her. He only got to do this once a year, after all; he had to make the best of it.

It was only a little unfair she wasn't a boy this time.

It was a beautiful day outside, so Dōjima had propped the door and windows of her room wide-open as she worked. She had two cardboard boxes set out on her bed; one labeled 'Rikku' and the other one 'Reno', and she was currently attempting to see how many packets of ramen she could fit into Reno's box. Any packing of her own was being studiously ignored; school wasn't over yet, and Rikku and Reno were much more important.

And with Reno, it wasn't like she trusted him to remember to eat. Besides, there was an awesome recipie tucked in there, along with the dehydrated bacon, and some horrible horrible eye-searing romance novels.

Rikku's box was, admittedly, bigger, due to multiple birthday gifts that needed to be sent to Spira. She hadn't called her friend, since she hadn't been sure how dates matched up between the worlds and the player was AFK that night, and if Rikku had picked up the phone, Yurika probably would have yelled at her for not being out living it up.

Sometimes, Dōjima was a very bad friend. But only in the best ways.

[Door and post are open! ETA: (un)Shockingly, thread with Romeo went NWS.]

It had been a fantastic handwavey date, and an even nicer walk afterward, before Yurika and Romeo came back to the cabins late that evening, giggling like giddy teenagers.

Which, of course, was an entirely accurate description.

Yurika grabbed at him as they stumbled through the door, laughing loudly as they tripped into their alcove and sent a disgruntled Alea fleeing for safety.

They would behave. Mostly. Or would if their cabin-mates started throwing things.

Monday found Dōjima in her room, door open and music blaring as she worked on her packing. She wasn't leaving for good - not yet - but she had the 'letter' from her Father, ordering her back to Japan starting tomorrow for a week's orientation with the STN-J.

She was going to miss everyone leaving and the move to the cabins, dammit. If Yurika were a paranoid person, she'd think Father Juliano was doing this on purpose to try and alienate her from her friends.

Okay, so she was paranoid, and she did think that was a possibility. A rather strong possibility. Still, orders were orders, and therefore she was packing things into three sets; items for this trip, things that could be shipped home, and stuff for the cabins. It was just easier to deal with it all at once.

[Door & Post open, that she's packing is totes FB, any mention of sekkrit-agent-stuff or orders is NFB.]
dojima_hime: by dojima_hime @ LJ (Default)
Normally the events of the last few weeks would call for a round of drinking or dancing or some other mode of repression, but that would require going out, which wasn't happening.

There were other worthy, time-honored methods when it came to dealing with things like this, which is why Yurika went through the trouble of actually making Haikara udon earlier in the day. Still ramen, just - nicer.

Some things were sacred, darn it.

Which is why she was currently sprawled out on her floor, food set out on her desk and a movie queued up on her laptop as she waited for a certain redhead.

[Open door, open post! Thread with the Turk comes last, zoto.]

dojima_hime: by dojima_hime @ LJ (yurika grin)
After the adventure that was last night's fire drill, Yurika had put Alea back in 503 before making herself comfortable for the rest of the night in 502.

A few hours later she slipped out to sneak down to the common room, returning quickly with breakfast; coffee, scrambled eggs, toast, jam, and a single red rose.

Hopefully this was going to go better than the last time they did breakfast in bed.

"Wake up, sleepyhead," she teased quietly, brushing the hair back from his face. "Sun's already up, your breakfast is getting cold, and I have class first period."

It was the evening of Christmas Day, and after too much of everything -- too many relatives, too much food, too many gifts, and far too much church even for Romeo's tastes -- Romeo and Yurika were finally, blissfully alone. Benvolio and Rosaline had been kind enough to give them a room together with no comment (besides a faint blush from Rosaline) and they had a day and more to relax before their portal back to Fandom.

Romeo collapsed on the velvet bedspread, staring at the ceiling. "So, that was Christmas in Verona," he informed Yurika. "Was it too much of a trial?"

Yurika kicked off her heels and crawled on to the bed to join him. )

The abduction on Thursday afternoon had gone perfectly. Yurika had packed a bag, handwavily given baby 'Fuzzy' off to Worf, and grabbed a Romeo by an arm to drag him down to their portal.

Not that he needed much dragging. The lure of a vacation had been a rather good incentive.

The club was already packed, the young and beautiful population of Tokyo out to drink and dance the night away.

It had been chosen as a meeting place due to its central location, but it wasn't hard to see why it was one of Dōjima's favorite hangouts.

By the time they had arrived last night, it had been a very long day. They had secured a very posh two-bedroom suite at one of the more exclusive hotels by waving Dōjima's credit-card at the front desk clerk, and now the false-dawn of the bright city lights was being threatened by the first rays of the true sun.

Welcome to Tokyo.

The warehouse they had tracked the Amano family to had clearly been abandoned for a long time, with its badly broken windows, leaking roof, and sagging doors.
