Romeo sighed as he watched her face. Jerking his shirt over his head, he grabbed a corner of the sheets. "It's not your fault, love," he said. "This has just been an oddly frustrating week."
The phone call. Then they'd fallen asleep almost as soon as they got back to his room, after the fire alarm. And, in between, he had tried to take care of himself and had found he couldn't get into the rhythm of it.
