Somewhere in Paris, Wednesday Afternoon
It was cold. There was snow. In July.
Rikku and Dōjima greatly disapproved of this situation, even with cute penguins.
Which was probably why they had grabbed a portal and gone back to Paris, with the intention of seeing exactly how much damage they could inflict on the shopping districts with some quality Girl Time.
Pity the poor shopgirls.
"Ano, Rikku," Dōjima said, grinning as she flipped through the rack, "What do you think, black or pink?"
[OOC: Rikku modded with permissions, and post locked to the other members of the posse. Up early for SP Justice! NFB due to distance, some (most) links may be NWS. It's the girls shopping. RUN IN FEAR.]

Re: OCD the 2nd
So, so worth the trip.
"What kinda prize? There's the question there, yo."

"Still, I'm sure I could throw in dinner, at least."
Re: OCD the 2nd
He also kind of wanted to take everything off, very slowly, but that could wait.
Re: OCD the 2nd
He'd been such a terrible influence on her.
Really, he was lucky she didn't add the clause about having to pull the laces out with his teeth, out loud.
Re: OCD the 2nd
"Well, that is what hotel rooms are for, ain't it? Bein' serviced?"
Someone had to say it. Honestly. And it just happened to be Reno, as he leaned up against the doorframe.
He owed Rude. He owed Rude big.
Re: OCD the 2nd
"If you boys don't mind, I need to change into something less comfortable. I'm getting a little chilly." She pouted out her lower lip slightly, batting her eyelashes. "Since you're so clever, why don't you find us a set of hotel rooms while you wait? I don't think I want to go all the way back to school tonight."
Re: OCD the 2nd
No point mentioning his other reason, which was that he was more used to dealing with hotel staff than Reno would be.
"I'll go down the block, we passed a hotel," he added, leaning in for a kiss from Yurika. "Leave your things at the counter and I will pay when I return."
He walked backwards as he left, just to fix the picture in his mind.
Re: OCD the 2nd
What? Just because the boys found them, didn't mean she had to play nice.
Re: OCD the 2nd
He was teasing, of course. He was quite happy with two. Him and his girl. Romeo could have Doji.
...
Unless there was more kissing to be had between the girls. He'd totally stick around for more of that.
Re: OCD the 2nd
She glanced over at the other blonde. "Unless I get to steal you for a quickie before Romeo gets back."
Re: OCD the 2nd
Re: OCD the 2nd
Reno was not gape-mouthed.
Much.
"Or at least take pictures. You gotta take pictures, yo."
Re: OCD the 2nd
Re: OCD the 2nd
"Moaning is a fantastic idea," she announced, slipping back into the dressing room as Rikku shut the door. "Mmmmm...so niiiiice!"
Special. Hell.
Re: OCD the 2nd
...
"I'm still out here!"
What? It was worth a shot, dammit.
Re: OCD the 2nd
He trusted they would.
"What did I miss?" he asked hopefully, leaning against a wall and trying to convince his heart to stop pounding.
It may have been a lost cause.
Re: OCD the 2nd
Re: OCD the 2nd
And it was almost a whine, really.
"Teasin' me." A pause, and then he called back through the door. "Just for that, Rikku, I'm buyin' everything you tried on, and I'm makin' you model it for me in person!"
What? It could be a punishment. Totally.
And that was why he was making his way toward the lady at the till again.
"La credit card?"
Re: OCD the 2nd
The shop girl gave Reno a bored look, one that became more bleak at his pitifully failed attempt at French.
//Excuse me, sir, but I have no idea what you are trying to communicate in the slightest,// she said sharply.
She spoke passable English, but the Americans were loud and boring and the blonde girls were making noises in the dressing room again, so today, she didn't speak English. Deal with it.
Re: OCD the 2nd
"That's 'cause he was enjoying it," she said glibly, sorting through her piles. "He's trying to encourage us, you know. It's reverse psycho-ology. He's hoping that if we think he's going to buy you things, we'll make more noises. He gets imaginary porn, you get shiny, and everyone wins."
Re: OCD the 2nd
Maybe she'd understand his obnoxious yet not-at-all-American English then?
"Come on. I just wanna buy all that! Do I gotta play charades? We don't even got French on Gaia."
This was bound to become epic if there wasn't some sort of intervention soon.

(Anonymous) 2008-07-04 12:38 pm (UTC)(link)Romeo, meanwhile, had been hanging back in hopes Reno would handle it, especially as he didn't know the French for credit card either, those not being known in 1898.
Finally, he snapped to attention. //Excuse me, miss,// he began, //My friend wishes to pay for these lovely goods. Would you do us the favor of ringing us up?//
He just had to hope that would work.
