Room 503, Monday Morning.

Monday found Dōjima in her room, door open and music blaring as she worked on her packing. She wasn't leaving for good - not yet - but she had the 'letter' from her Father, ordering her back to Japan starting tomorrow for a week's orientation with the STN-J.

She was going to miss everyone leaving and the move to the cabins, dammit. If Yurika were a paranoid person, she'd think Father Juliano was doing this on purpose to try and alienate her from her friends.

Okay, so she was paranoid, and she did think that was a possibility. A rather strong possibility. Still, orders were orders, and therefore she was packing things into three sets; items for this trip, things that could be shipped home, and stuff for the cabins. It was just easier to deal with it all at once.

[Door & Post open, that she's packing is totes FB, any mention of sekkrit-agent-stuff or orders is NFB.]

Ino was well aware that people were leaving and stuff and was of the opinion that it all ought to be outlawed and had spent most of the weekend sulking in her room. (The fact that this was illogical as she ought to be spending more time with people who were leaving rather than sulking about the fact that they were leaving was quite elegantly ignored.) Ino had no need for that bit of logic.

She'd have to be a lot more bummed out about it though to miss the signs of someone, you know, packing when they were so close to her room.

"You're leaving?" she asked, dismayed.

"Not for good!" Dōjima replied cheerily as she tossed a shirt into a box. "I've got a work meeting, and I'll be back by Monday night! I'm just getting this done now, since I won't be around for the cabin-move."

"That's... good," she said, making a bit of a face. "Though, I mean, you coming back and not leaving yet actually is good, don't get me wrong."

[identity profile] dojima-hime.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 05:01 pm (UTC)(link)
"I've got a TA position with Garrett-sensei, so you don't get rid of me that easily!" Dōjima chirped. "Seven more weeks of Dōjima, unlike some slackers who are cutting and running."
intraspective: (dorktastic)

"Cutting and running ought to be banned," she said, smiling slightly at that. "I'm in full favour of that, though maybe seven weeks is long enough to pretend that I'm happy to see people leave. Go on, get out, and all of that."

She considered that.

"Maybe with sticks. Wave pitchforks at people and kick them out since they're leaving anyway."

[identity profile] dojima-hime.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
"You drive me out with a pitchfork and a mob, and you don't get any postcards," Dōjima said dryly. "You know, we ought to just sit on people. They wouldn't be mean enough to try and push us off, ne?"

"You're giving warning," Ino said, "and staying around a bit, so you don't get pitchforks, you get pouting. Does pouting still net me postcards? Sitting on people might work, though, and if they're mean to us we could be mean back and burst into tears."

Because that'd show them. Or something.

[identity profile] dojima-hime.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 05:39 pm (UTC)(link)
"Pouting still gets postcards, and even a standing invitation to come hang out whenever you want," Dōjima promised. "And we can totally guilt anyone who's mean to us. They can't withstand our powers combined!"

"I do have a rather effective pout," she admitted, "and knowing you, you've got one too. Cute blonde girls tend to. Part of the package. If anyone can withstand two of us combined... they don't have any feelings at all." She'd have said 'aren't human' but at Fandom some people weren't.

"I've never been to Tokyo." Ino brightened. "Do you think I'd like it?"

[identity profile] dojima-hime.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 06:11 pm (UTC)(link)
"Tokyo is Tokyo," she said, lighting up. "It's a city that literally doesn't sleep; filled with neon and music and clubbing at all hours. If you want to spend a night out raising hell, Tokyo is the place to be."

She grinned. "I'd have to lie 'bout my age, no doubt," Ino said, "but that's a small lie, really, compared to others. And it'd be worth it for fun."

[identity profile] dojima-hime.livejournal.com 2009-05-04 07:32 pm (UTC)(link)
"Eh. They wouldn't really care about your age, as long as we behaved. Well, mostly behaved. One of the privileges of being me is that I get away with murder," she laughed. "Figuratively, not literally. As a Hunter, I am supposed to bring the suspect in alive whenever possible."

As a spy, well, the lines were a bit more murky.
intraspective: (nyah!)

But of course.

"Taking alive is harder anyway," she said dryly. "And, really now, they'd have to catch me to scold me for being a bad bad little girl who pays far too much attention to her Onee-san's ideas."

Ino grinned. "It might even pass, with a lot of fast talking."

[identity profile] dojima-hime.livejournal.com 2009-05-05 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
"You could totally pass as one of my cousins or a half-sibling," Dōjima agreed. "We wouldn't have to talk that fast, even if they did that catch us!"
